Hi I would like to have the information about the notification issued by Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) Hyderabad for PG Diploma Courses and the details of the exam conducted for admission?

Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) Hyderabad had welcomed applications for admission to following PG Diploma Courses (full-time half year courses) initiating from August 2017

C-DAC Common Admission Test (C-CAT)

Admissions to all PG Diploma courses of C-DAC are done through C-DAC's automated Common Admission Test (C-CAT). Consistently, C-CAT is generally directed in June (for August affirmations) and December (for February confirmations)

Applicants who clear the June 2017 C-CAT may be considered for admission to C-DAC's PG Diploma Courses of August 2017 bunch on the premise of their C-CAT positions and focus/course inclinations.

Courses Offered at C-DAC Hyderabad

C-DAC announced admission to the following career-oriented 24-week’s full time Post Graduate Diploma Courses in ICT for Graduate in Engineering/MCA or equivalent

Category I (Section A in C-CAT):
PG Diploma in Geoinformatics (PG-Dgi)
Category II (Sections A+B in C-CAT):
PG Diploma in Advanced Computing (PG-DAC)
PG Diploma in Mobile Computing (PG-DCM)
PG Diploma in System Software Development (PG-DSSD)
PG Diploma in IT Infrastructure, Systems & Security (PG-DITISS)
PG Diploma in Big Data Analytics (PG-DBDA)
Category III (Sections A+B+C in C-CAT):
PG Diploma in Embedded Systems Design (PG-DESD)
PG Diploma in VLSI Design (PG-DVLSI)
PG Diploma in Automation & SCADA Systems (PG-DASS)
PG Diploma in Biomedical Instrumentation & Health Informatics (PG-DBIHI)

C-DAC 2017 C-CAT Eligibility Criteria

For Common Eligibility Criteria for all the PG Diploma Courses of C-DAC:

Graduate in Engineering or comparable (e.g. BE/B.Tech/4-year B.Sc Engg/AMIE/DoEACC "B" Level, and so forth.) in IT/Computer Science/Electronics/Telecommunications/Electrical/Instrumentation or related regions (Or);

Post Graduate Degree in Engineering Sciences (e.g. M.Sc. in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, and so forth)

There is no age confinement for admission to C-DAC's PG Diploma courses. Applicants who have showed up/will be showing up for the last examination of their qualifying degree in 2017 will likewise be considered for admission to the above courses
